“Ewert and The Two Dragons” was founded in Tallinn in 2008 by four professional musicians – Everts Sundja, Erki Pärnoja and Kristjans Kallas, a little later Ivo Eti joined them. A year later, the band’s self-released debut album “The Hills Behind the Hills” was released, but in the fall of 2010, “Ewert and The Two Dragons” signed a contract with the Latvian record label “I Love You Records” for the release of the second album. The album “Good Man Down” was released in April 2011, becoming the best-selling record of the year in Estonia. At the end of the year, “Ewert and The Two Dragons” were nominated for the Estonian Music Award in five categories – best group, best album, best rock album, best song (“Good Man Down”) and best video (“Good Man Down”), and also received awards in all five mentioned categories. In the following years, the group actively performed in both Europe and North America, and in 2013 received the “European Border Breakers Award”, which is presented to Europe’s most promising young musicians. In 2015, “Ewert and The Two Dragons” began cooperation with the US label “Sire Records”, releasing the album “Circles”. 2018 they released their latest album with a help of Sony Music -“Hands Around The Moon”.
